Barcelona, October 6, 2026. Capitole, a technology consultancy founded in Barcelona in 2015, has acquired Thiga Spain, the Spanish subsidiary of the French consultancy Thiga, which specializes in product management and product design. The deal was signed on September 22 and brings in more than 35 professionals. Financial terms have not been disclosed. The acquisition covers only the Spanish subsidiary. Thiga continues to operate independently in all its other markets.

With this addition, Capitole surpasses 1,500 professionals just eleven years after its founding. 96% of that growth has been organic, without acquisitions.

The deal comes at a time of consolidation in the Spanish technology consulting sector. Thiga Spain works on the early stage of the software lifecycle: product definition and design. With its addition, the company now offers expertise across the entire value chain, from product conception through to development and ongoing evolution.

Thiga Spain, headquartered in Madrid and operating since 2017, works with large accounts on digital product strategy, design, customer experience and organizational transformation projects for companies in the fashion, retail, energy, telecommunications, food and public administration sectors. Its teams have been integrated into Capitole since the deal closed, keeping their existing clients and ongoing projects.

Thiga Spain joins Capitole’s Methods & Transformation practice, to which it brings digital product management and design, methodology and transformation. The company organizes its activity into six specialized practices, which also cover its capabilities in software development, quality, data and artificial intelligence, infrastructure and cybersecurity, and engineering.

Olivier Pichou, CEO and founder of Capitole, says: “Bringing in Thiga Spain reflects a clear ambition: to step in further upstream in the value chain, to understand which products our clients should build, how to improve them, and how to bring them to reality as efficiently as possible. We want to preserve their identity while giving them access to Capitole’s scale. This is not driven solely by a growth logic: it is about combining scale with expertise.”

Diego Chico de Guzmán, Managing Director of Thiga Spain, adds: “We were born with the purpose of transforming the way organizations conceive and design their digital products. Joining Capitole allows us to take that vision to a much larger scale, while maintaining our essence, our talent and our methodology.”
